Ohio Governor Establishes $31 Million Polymer Innovation Hub

Governor DeWine of Ohio has announced the establishment of the Greater Akron Polymer Innovation Hub, the state's third innovation hub, which will be a hub for research and innovation in polymer technology. The project has received $31.25 million in funding from the state, bringing the total investment in the Polymer Cluster to nearly $100 million. This initiative aims to position Ohio as a leading center for polymer research and innovation in the nation. The Greater Akron Polymer Innovation Hub is believed to be a significant step forward for Akron's polymer industry as the state invests in a more sustainable future. The project has garnered support from various entities such as the Governor, Lt. Governor, Greater Akron Chamber, community partners, investors, scientists, and researchers.
