LA County Offers Program for Public Service Jobs

The Los Angeles County Department of Economic Opportunity is offering a 6-week PLACE program in partnership with the Worker Education Resource Center (WERC) for job seekers looking to secure permanent public service positions. The program aims to help historically underrepresented individuals prepare for Grounds Maintenance Worker roles with the Department of Beaches and Harbors. LA County has been ranked among Forbes' "America’s Best Large Employers" and is seeking diverse talent to fill thousands of job openings.
