LAUSD Promotes Mental Health Awareness This September

In September, the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) emphasizes the importance of mental health awareness during National Suicide Prevention Month. The district highlights the message that asking for help shows strength.
LAUSD assures students and families that all schools have a crisis team ready to provide support when needed. For immediate assistance, individuals can contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988. Additionally, the Student and Family Wellness Hotline is available for further support at (213) 241-3840, operating on weekdays from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
LAUSD remains committed to prioritizing the safety and well-being of its students.
