**Event Announcement: "El placer en resistencia" Workshop**

The San Francisco Public Library will host a virtual workshop titled "El placer en resistencia" on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The event features Melina Gaze and Suz Urrea, founders of the bilingual collective Vulgar based in Mexico City.

Participants will explore the intersection of sexual pleasure and social justice, drawing insights from their chapter in *The People’s Book of Human Sexuality* (2023). The workshop will focus on creating collaborative spaces with anti-racist, trans justice, and sex worker advocacy groups.
