The City of Modesto's Parks, Recreation, & Neighborhoods Department hosted several community events last week. Participants enjoyed MAPS Wild Planet Day at Modesto Junior College, Family Fun Day at Charles M. Sharp Park, and Aspire Charter School's Annual Health & Fitness Festival.

The department expressed gratitude to attendees for joining in and learning about their upcoming programs and events. They also encouraged those who couldn't attend to view the Fall Activity Guide online at www.modestogov.com/483.

City officials look forward to meeting the community at future events.
