Sarasota County Schools have announced that all traditional public schools and district offices will reopen as scheduled on Monday, September 30. The district is currently conducting inspections and performing cleanup and repairs over the weekend.

School facilities are closed today and through the weekend, with access limited to designated staff. Parents and guardians should anticipate transportation delays as some bus stops may be impacted or inaccessible. For assistance, they can contact Transportation at 941-486-2141 or the Operations Control Center at 941-966-7233.

The district expressed gratitude to employees who supported the community at evacuation centers. Updates will be available on the Sarasota County Schools website and social media channels.
