Akron Marathon Set for September 28, 2024

The Akron Marathon is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 28, 2024. Residents and visitors are advised to plan ahead and allow for extra travel time, especially if traveling before 1 p.m.
During the marathon, staff will be stationed along the route to assist with pedestrian traffic and to intermittently manage vehicular traffic at various points. Some intersections will be closed, and parking bans will also be enforced to accommodate the event.
