JSO Volunteers Gear Up for Hurricane Helene Response

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) is prepared for Hurricane Helene, with officers volunteering to work on their days off to address storm-related incidents. In addition to the on-duty force, they will ensure public safety during the storm.

The 911 Center will take emergency calls and coordinate responses with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department (JFRD), Jacksonville Electric Authority (JEA), Public Works, and other city resources for emergencies. Residents are advised to stay off the roads.

For storm-related questions or issues, individuals can call 904-630-CITY (2489). In case of emergencies, they should dial 911 for immediate assistance.
