Resilience Conversation for Domestic Violence Awareness Month

The DC Volunteer Lawyers Project is hosting an event for Domestic Violence Awareness Month entitled "Voices of Resilience: A Purple Thursday Conversation." The event will feature Nikki Addimando and Michelle Horton, author of the memoir "Dear Sister: A Memoir of Secrets, Survival, and Unbreakable Bonds." The conversation will be moderated by Kamil Shields, a board member of the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project.

This event will take place on Thursday, October 17, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, located at 1700 New York Ave NW, Washington, DC 20006. Attendees will receive admission, a complimentary copy of "Dear Sister," and an opportunity to meet author Michelle Horton.
