Viva La Vida Festival Promotes Clean, Green Practices!

Staff Report / atxlocal.org

Austin Recycles is collaborating with Keep Austin Beautiful for the 2024 Viva La Vida Festival, which will take place on Saturday, October 26. The festival aims to create a cleaner environment by focusing on waste collection and recyclables along the parade route. Participants are encouraged to help keep the streets clean and enjoy the festivities.

As part of the event, attendees are encouraged to compost food scraps, soiled paper, and compostable wood and paper cutlery to minimize waste. Those interested in volunteering can sign up at the provided link: givepul.se/9pdbyl.
