**Akron Police Seek Public's Help in Identifying Aggravated Robbery Suspect**

Akron, Ohio - The Akron Police Department is requesting assistance from the community to help identify a suspect involved in an aggravated robbery that took place on Friday, October 4th. The incident occurred around 8:20 a.m. in the 500 block of North Main Street.

According to police reports, the victim returned to his vehicle after making a purchase and found an unknown male in the back seat. The suspect allegedly pointed a gun at the victim and forced him to drive to a nearby ATM on East Cuyahoga Falls Avenue. After the victim withdrew an undisclosed amount of cash, he exited the vehicle, allowing the suspect to take over the driver's seat and drive away with the victim's car.

The victim's vehicle has since been recovered. During the investigation, detectives gathered information and obtained photographs of a person of interest related to the robbery.

The Akron Police Department urges anyone with information regarding this crime or the suspect's identity to contact Detective R. Doney at 330-375-2490. Authorities advise that if anyone sees the suspect, they should not approach but call 911 immediately.
