**Hurricane Milton Recovery Resources Available in Sarasota**
As residents of Sarasota begin the recovery process after Hurricane Milton, a variety of resources have been made available to assist those impacted by the storm.
A **Disaster Recovery Center** is open at the Municipal Auditorium, located at 801 N. Tamiami Trail. The center operates from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and provides face-to-face assistance from representatives of FEMA and the Small Business Administration (SBA).
Residents seeking **FEMA assistance** can apply for disaster aid by visiting DisasterAssistance.gov or calling 800-621-3362.
Support for **business recovery** is also provided. Business owners in Sarasota can find more information and resources by visiting Sarasotafl.gov/business-resources and selecting "Business Hurricane Assistance."
For residents handling **vegetative debris**, Sarasota County allows free drop-off at two locations, with the nearest site being Rothenbach Park at 8650 Bee Ridge Road. Drop-off hours are Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Those whose roofs were damaged can enroll in **Operation Blue Roof**, which offers free temporary roof coverings. To register for assistance, residents should call 888-ROOF-BLU or visit blueroof.gov.
Individuals looking for a place to escape the heat or access shower and laundry services can visit a **Comfort Station** located at 3333 N. Tamiami Trail.
For ongoing updates about recovery resources, residents are encouraged to follow the City of Sarasota's social media pages or visit Sarasotafl.gov/Alerts.
