According to the Greater Akron Chamber, one out of every two jobs in the region, spanning various sectors including factories, restaurants, and banks, relies on the manufacturing sector.

To highlight the significance of manufacturing, the Manufacturing Symposium: The Ripple Effect of the Polymer Industry on the Future of Manufacturing, Talent, and Workforce in Northeast Ohio is set to take place as a virtual event. This symposium is held in partnership with MAGNET: The Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network and coincides with Manufacturing Month.
