The Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) is set to host its 2024 Foundation Gala on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. The event will take place at the Perelman Performing Arts Center located at 251 Fulton Street in New York City.

This year’s gala will honor Khady Kamara Nunez, the Executive Director of the Perelman Performing Arts Center, and John Sutter, the President of Canal Street Associates, LLC. The evening will be hosted by Cindy Hsu, an Emmy Award-Winning Television Anchor and Reporter.

The gala aims to showcase achievements of BMCC students and raise essential funds for the college, which will support future leaders in the community. Gleydy Esmeralda Mora Aquino, a Science for Health major, commented on the importance of scholarship support, stating, “This scholarship represents a belief in my potential and my future as a healthcare professional.”
