The Future of Workforce is Welcoming event will take place on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 8 AM to 12:30 PM at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Fairlawn/Akron. This event is organized by the Summit County Welcoming Workforce Coalition in collaboration with the University of Akron’s College of Business and Team NEO.

The focus of the gathering is to discuss how to build resiliency in the local economy by integrating international newcomers into the workforce of Summit County. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with experts from the Economic Innovation Group and network with local organizations that support the integration of newcomers. There will also be discussions with public officials and community leaders about strategies for welcoming international talent to the region.

Breakfast will be provided for attendees. Tickets for the event are currently available at the provided online link.
