**SFPD and Walgreens Launch Holiday Toy Drive for Children in Need**
The San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) is partnering with Walgreens to host a toy drive aimed at benefiting children in need during the holiday season. Donations of new, unwrapped toys will be accepted at over 40 Walgreens locations across San Francisco starting Friday, November 8th, and continuing through Friday, December 20th, 2024.
Individuals are encouraged to purchase or drop off toys at any participating Walgreens store or any district police station. The toys collected will be distributed to children by the SFPD in time for the holidays. Last year, the toy drive resulted in approximately 6,000 toys being donated through Walgreens stores.
The official kickoff for the toy drive will take place at 12 PM on November 8th at the Walgreens located at 3601 California Street.
