Akron, Ohio - Today, Isaiah Young, Special Assistant to the Mayor, attended a pep rally at Hoban High School to congratulate the Boys Golf Team on achieving their 2nd Division 1 State Championship. During the event, he presented a proclamation designating today, November 19, as "Archbishop Hoban High School Boys Golf Team Day" in Akron. The City of Akron expressed pride in the team's accomplishments, particularly highlighting city employee Zachary Hewitt, who is the Assistant Boys Golf Coach and works in the Finance Department. The city continues to support and celebrate the achievements of its youth.
