Youth and Government Program Empowers Young Leaders

Staff Report / FTWlocal.org

Last week, the Youth and Government program held its annual District Finals in Fort Worth, Texas. This event provided an opportunity for participants to engage with the democratic process and explore how they can affect change in their communities.

Katrina, a parent of a first-year participant, praised the program for its ability to involve young people in community issues and help them express their opinions. She stated that it is a valuable way for kids to gain important skills and build confidence as they learn to play active roles in shaping the future.

The Youth and Government program aims to equip youth with essential skills and empower them to become future leaders. Parents interested in meaningful activities for their children are encouraged to participate in this program, which emphasizes community engagement and personal development.
