Job Fair Attracts Thousands, 51 Offers Made

**Hiring Red, White & You! 2024 Job Fair Wrap-Up**

The 13th Annual Hiring Red, White & You! Job Fair concluded recently with significant participation and engagement from the community. The event featured 154 employers, who were looking to fill a total of 9,896 job vacancies.

A total of 1,906 job seekers from Tarrant County attended the fair, including 223 veterans and 52 spouses of veterans. Out of the attendees, 3,074 job seekers preregistered for the event. In addition, employers conducted or scheduled 1,223 interviews during the fair, resulting in 51 job offers being made.

The event also provided a valuable service to participants, as 422 job seekers received professional headshots at no cost.

Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County coordinated the job fair, which has been supported by the Texas Workforce Commission for 13 years. Organizers expressed gratitude for the ongoing support from Tarrant County officials and board members, who have consistently participated in the event.

Looking ahead, organizers announced another job fair will take place on December 13, 2024. This event, hosted by Congressman Marc Veasey, is scheduled to be held from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Tarrant County College South Campus in Fort Worth.
