The Akron Police Department reported a successful Food Drive on Friday at the Ellet Acme on Wedgewood for the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank. The event raised $771.24 in monetary donations and collected 480 pounds of food. This generous contribution will provide a total of 2,713 meals. The Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank and the Akron Police Department expressed their gratitude to everyone who contributed.
