Akron Fire Department Launches Safety Education Project

**Akron Fire Department Participates in Fire Safety Education Project**

The Akron Fire Department has joined forces with local non-profit organizations to bring an innovative fire safety education initiative to life. Representatives recently visited Crouse CLC to discuss plans for this project, which is designed to educate students about fire safety and introduce them to the fire service as a potential career path.

The project will include unique hands-on learning opportunities. Dermaine Hinton of United Family Community demonstrated RC fire trucks that he and students will modify to squirt water. These modified trucks will be capable of extinguishing small fires, creating an engaging and practical fire safety experience for participants.

Additionally, Marcus Bentley of L.A.V.A. Athletics, in partnership with Hinton, will collaborate with the Akron Fire Department for a comprehensive fire safety presentation at an upcoming event. Specific details about the event and its schedule have yet to be announced.

This collaboration represents a cooperative effort to not only educate but also inspire students through interactive and community-supported initiatives. Stay tuned for more updates as the project unfolds.
