**Snowfall Expected in Akron Starting Tonight**

Akron, Ohio—The City of Akron has announced that snowfall is expected to begin this evening (Friday) and continue through Saturday afternoon. Current forecasts predict accumulations ranging from a light coating to up to 1 inch of snow in the area.

City crews are already prepared to tackle the winter conditions. Road treatment operations will commence at 8 PM tonight and continue until 4 PM on Saturday. Priority and secondary routes will be given attention to ensure they remain safe and clear for residents and commuters.

For residents who notice untreated residential streets in need of salting, the city has provided several ways to submit a request. You can report such issues by calling 311, visiting akronohio.gov/311, or using the Akron311 app.
