**Akron Area YMCA Seeks Mentors for Youth Mentoring Program**

Akron, OH – The Akron Area YMCA is calling on caring adults to make a meaningful impact in the lives of local children by joining their Youth Mentoring Program. With just four hours per week, mentors can help guide and support school-aged children in the community.

The program, which coincides with National Mentoring Month in January, emphasizes the importance of role models in shaping the future of young minds. Individuals who join will not only contribute to the betterment of the community but will also receive compensation for their time and efforts.

For those interested in becoming a mentor or learning more about the program, contact Tony Grimes at **tonyg@akronymca.org**.
