**Akron Public Schools to Resume In-Person Learning January 23, 2025**

Akron, Ohio – Akron Public Schools (APS) has announced that all students and staff will return to in-person learning starting Thursday, January 23, 2025. This decision was made following a thorough evaluation of current weather conditions, road safety, and the status of school buildings.

According to the APS announcement, the determination to reopen schools was made with the safety of students and staff as the highest priority. Officials expressed confidence that conditions are now secure for in-person instruction to proceed as scheduled.
