**8th Grade Take a Stand Showcase Set for Saturday at Garfield CLC**

Akron Public Schools is hosting the 8th Grade Take a Stand Showcase on Saturday, January 25, at Garfield Community Learning Center (CLC) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event, organized by Mikva Challenge, will feature 8th-grade students presenting solutions to real-world challenges through public speaking.

The initiative aims to empower youth and give them a platform to share their voices and ideas for community change. The students will showcase their ability to address critical issues and offer practical solutions. The event highlights the importance of youth engagement and fosters leadership skills among Akron's younger generation.

Community members are encouraged to attend and support Akron Public Schools students as they advocate for meaningful change.
