**Akron Native Kali Oliver Joins Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater on 18-City Tour**

Akron's own Kali Oliver, who grew up attending Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater performances with her family since the age of three, has now achieved her dream of joining the illustrious company. Oliver, a graduate of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, began her journey in the arts at Miller South School for the Visual and Performing Arts, where vocal studies helped shape both her musicality and appreciation for the arts.

Now a member of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Oliver will take part in an 18-city tour, kicking off with three performances at Playhouse Square from January 31 to February 1. This achievement marks a significant milestone for the Akron native who grew up inspired by the renowned dance troupe.

From childhood spectator to performer, Oliver's journey underscores her dedication to the arts and her hometown roots. Stay tuned as she brings her talent and passion to audiences across the country in this celebrated tour.
