**Two Young Men Overcome Addiction Through YMCA's Y-Strong Program in Akron**

The Akron Area YMCA has been making a positive impact through its Y-Strong Program, which helps individuals in recovery from addiction rebuild their lives. The initiative, started in 2015 by Judge Tom Teodosio, has paved the way for numerous success stories, including two young men who have overcome their struggles and are now working toward brighter futures.

The Y-Strong Program operates in collaboration with multiple local specialized courts, including Turning Point Court, Family Reunification Court, Hope Court, Valor Court, Akron Recovery Court, and Barberton Municipal Drug Court. These courts refer individuals to the program after they have reached significant milestones in their recovery as determined by the respective judges.

The program's support has been instrumental in helping participants navigate the challenges of addiction recovery, providing them with the tools and environment needed to achieve long-term success. These efforts reflect the impactful partnership between the Akron Area YMCA and the local judicial system.
