**Akron Honors Challenger Astronaut Dr. Judith Resnik on Anniversary of Tragedy**

On January 28, 1986, the Challenger space shuttle tragedy took the lives of seven astronauts, including Akron native Dr. Judith Resnik. Today, the City of Akron, Ohio, remembers and honors her remarkable contributions as part of this historic crew.
