**Akron EMS Crew Named 2024 EMS Crew of the Year by Cleveland Clinic**

The City of Akron is celebrating a major achievement for Firefighter/Paramedics Elizabeth Davis and James Remick, who have been named the EMS Crew of the Year for 2024 by the Cleveland Clinic. Both Davis and Remick serve at Fire Station 6, located on South Hawkins Avenue, and were recognized for their outstanding work in emergency medical services.

This distinguished honor recognizes their remarkable teamwork, dedication, and expertise in emergency care. The duo was nominated by their lieutenant, Chris Bader, for their consistent ability to remain calm under pressure, execute EMS protocols flawlessly, and provide life-saving assistance during critical emergencies. Their coordination and decision-making skills have impacted countless lives in the Akron community.

The award will be officially presented to them at the Cleveland Clinic Inaugural Awards Ceremony, set to take place on January 31, 2024.
