**City of Greeley Clarifies Immigration Policy and Community Resources**

GREELEY, Colo. — The City of Greeley has issued a response to growing community concerns surrounding a new Executive Order on Immigration. Officials emphasized their continued commitment to serving all community members, regardless of immigration status.

The Greeley Police Department reassured residents that its services, including response to emergency calls, fire support, and homeless assistance programs, will remain accessible to everyone. They stressed that immigration status will not impact their efforts to protect residents and maintain public safety.

Mayor Gates reaffirmed the city’s focus on safety and compliance with federal law while acknowledging the effect of the order on community members. Meanwhile, City Manager Raymond Lee explained that his team is closely reviewing the federal directives to determine how city services may need to adjust.

"We know our community is confused and concerned," said Lee. "We're committed to keeping our city moving forward as we determine any required next steps."

Although the City of Greeley does not directly provide immigration services, it highlighted local organizations that are available to support immigrants and refugees in the area:
