**Parking Updates and Event Adjustment at Akron-Summit County Public Library**
The Akron-Summit County Public Library has shared important updates regarding events and parking in the downtown Akron area.
All city parking, including the High Street lot near the Akron Art Museum and across the street from the Main Library, will be free of charge on weekends. However, attendees of the Family Reading Festival are advised that the parking deck adjacent to the Main Library is undergoing construction. The Library clarified that it does not own or operate this parking deck but appreciates everyone’s understanding as this work continues.
It was also announced that Outback Ray will not be able to appear at the Family Reading Festival, which may require adjustments to the festival program. Further details about the event and parking changes will be shared as needed.
For any further inquiries or updates, patrons can contact the Library directly.
