Frost Advisory Issued for Western New York Counties

Tonight across Western New York, clearing skies and diminishing winds are expected to allow temperatures to drop into the mid to upper 30s in the western Southern Tier, with frost developing before sunrise. In other areas, low temperatures are anticipated to remain mainly in the 40s.

The National Weather Service issued a Frost Advisory for Cattaraugus and Allegany counties. Residents are advised to protect sensitive outdoor plants by covering them or bringing them indoors.

• Sodus: 46°F

• Fulton: 44°F

• Geneva: 44°F

• Dansville: 42°F
