Geneva Students Explore Local History at Cemetery Walk

Second- and fifth-graders from Geneva City Schools spent part of their week learning about local history with Historic Geneva’s Anne Dealy. The students participated in a walk through Washington Street Cemetery where they learned how to read gravestones. The activity helped students uncover clues about the lives of Geneva’s early residents. The event was supported by parent volunteers who assisted in making the local history lesson possible.
