Geneva Mayor's Tree Lighting Marks Holiday Kickoff
Geneva, NY – The Mayor’s Tree Lighting Ceremony is scheduled for December 5, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at City Hall, located at 47 Castle Street. The event will include live music and festive activities for all ages.
Santa Claus is planned to make an appearance on a firetruck at 6:00 PM, giving attendees the opportunity to get a photo. Carriage rides will be available from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, courtesy of Century 21 Steve Davoli Real Estate.
Additionally, there will be a child ID booth provided by GPD and a Fill the Cruiser Toys for Tots Drive by GPD. Free popcorn and hot chocolate will be available courtesy of BID.
One child will be selected to light the tree alongside Mayor Valentino. The event is open to families and is intended to celebrate the start of the holiday season.
