West Street School in Geneva, NY held several family events this month to welcome parents and caregivers into the classrooms. In one event, students in Mr. Abraham's and Ms. McCarthy’s class teamed up with family members to design and build gingerbread houses. The activity provided a chance for students and their families to work together on a creative project while experiencing a seasonal celebration.

Geneva City Schools organized the events to help connect home and school, giving students the opportunity to learn alongside their everyday supporters.
