NY Law Enforcement Targets Super Bowl DWI Prevention

The City of Geneva Police in Geneva, New York, reported that law enforcement agencies across New York State will participate in the STOP-DWI High Visibility Engagement Campaign during Super Bowl weekend. The campaign is scheduled from Sunday, February 8 to Monday, February 9, 2026, and will feature increased patrols, sobriety checkpoints, and targeted enforcement efforts to prevent impaired driving. The initiative encourages individuals who plan to drink during the Super Bowl to plan ahead for a sober ride home by designating a driver, using rideshare services, or opting for public transportation.
