Students from Geneva City Schools and Geneva High School spent the day at the Golisano Institute of Business & Entrepreneurship in Geneva, New York. The event focused on business and entrepreneurship education through hands-on activities. Participants took part in an interactive “napkin challenge” where they worked in small groups to sketch out a business idea. Groups addressed questions such as who their ideal customer would be, the problem their business would solve, details of their product or service, how they would operate, reasons customers should choose their business, and key risks involved.

In addition to the napkin challenge, students enjoyed a campus tour, engaged in conversations about the field of entrepreneurship, listened to a student panel Q&A, and attended a mock AI class. The day was structured to encourage students to think creatively, ask questions, and learn what it takes to turn ideas into action.
