Wake County CPR Boosts Cardiac Arrest Survival Rates

Wake County, NC – In 2024, bystander CPR has been linked to an increase in cardiac arrest survival rates from 15% to 42% in Wake County. In recognition of American Heart Month, Wake County EMS and Wake County Public Health are offering four free hands-only CPR classes this month. These courses are designed to help individuals learn a skill that may prove essential in emergency situations. Interested participants can sign up using the provided link. Please note that the classes do not offer an official CPR certificate.
