Now Circa Then Opens at McDonald Theatre

Opening night for Now Circa Then is underway at McDonald Theatre on the Hobart and William Smith Colleges campus in Geneva, N.Y. The production is directed by Chris Hatch, professor of theatre, and stars Michael O’Sullivan ’27 and Kalila Caringal ’27.

Gideon loves history and longs for the ways of the past. Margie is new to the city and struggles to survive in the moment. When the two are hired as historical re-enactors at New York City’s Tenement Museum, their mismatched ideals and differing views on history prove both alluring and infuriating to each other. The play was written by Carly Mensch (Orange Is the New Black, Weeds, GLOW). Now Circa Then will be staged in McDonald Theatre.

The play runs Feb. 19–21. Showtimes and box office tickets are available at this link.
