Geneva Public Library Unveils Weekly Events Lineup

GENEVA, N.Y. — The Geneva Public Library reports a lineup of weekly events for the week, inviting residents to try tai chi, participate in an adult craft program, play euchre, join Dungeons & Dragons, or explore one of the library’s book clubs. The library says there is something for people learning a new skill, picking up a hobby, or simply connecting with others. Check the calendar and give something new a try.

Monday: Messy Story Hour — 10 a.m.; Euchre Club — 1 p.m.; Adult Dungeons & Dragons — off site — 6 p.m.

Tuesday: Sensory Shenanigans — 10 a.m.; LVOY Office Hours — 10 a.m.; Dragons & Dice — 3:30 p.m.

Wednesday: Messy Story Hour — 10 a.m.; Tai Chi — 2 p.m.; Open Stitch — 3 p.m.; Brick Builders' Club — 4 p.m.; LVOY Office Hours — 4 p.m.

Geneva Public Library to host Read Across America event

Geneva Public Library in Geneva, N.Y., will host a Read Across America celebration Saturday, March 7, from 10 a.m. to noon, featuring Cris Johnson's "I Heart to Read" magic show, crafts, face painting, snacks and hands-on activities for children of all ages, with attendees able to meet the Lorax, in partnership with Geneva Reads, St. Francis & St. Stephen's School, Child & Family Resources and Geneva 2030; registration is encouraged on the library's website.
