Wake County Board of Elections appoints new chair and member
Wake County Board of Elections in Raleigh, North Carolina, reports that the board welcomed a new chair and a new member during today’s meeting.
Keith Weatherly was sworn in as chair. Weatherly has served on the Wake County Board of Elections since 2018 and previously served as chair.
Donna Williams was sworn in as a new board member.
The board also extends its appreciation to Angela Hawkins for her service since 2019. Ms. Hawkins recently resigned after being appointed to the North Carolina State Board of Elections.
