The Apex Foundation in Apex, North Carolina says it's Shoutout Tuesday. This week focuses on two shoutouts at Baucom Elementary School.
Nathan Stack
Nathan Stack, an AIG teacher, brings innovation and leadership to the school through hands-on STEM learning. He has secured multiple grants to support initiatives like a student-run greenhouse, environmental research and expanded coding opportunities, creating real-world learning experiences for students.
He is also a vital part of the school community, leading the science fair, supporting daily operations, and celebrating students through schoolwide events. His creativity and dedication enrich both student learning and school culture.
Lorraine Ateshian
Lorraine Ateshian, a pre-k teacher, brings a deep understanding of early childhood development and a strong commitment to meeting each child’s individual needs. After transitioning from an instructional assistant to a lead teacher role, she has created a nurturing, structured classroom where young learners feel safe, confident, and ready to thrive. She is a dedicated advocate for her students, ensuring they receive the support and resources needed for success.
