Geneva High School choirs earn Gold, Silver at NYSSMA Majors
Geneva City Schools in Geneva, New York, reported that Geneva High School’s Varsity Singers and Chorus performed at NYSSMA Majors, an adjudicated event that evaluates ensembles at the highest level.
GHS Chorus earned a Silver rating (Excellent) at Level III, while Varsity Singers earned a Gold rating (Outstanding) at Level V.
Under the direction of Mr. Craig, the ensembles demonstrated the dedication, preparation and teamwork that define Geneva’s music program.
The district congratulated the student musicians for representing Geneva with excellence and thanked Mr. Craig for his leadership and commitment to student success.

Hobart and William Smith Colleges celebrated a joyful spring Saturday on the Geneva campus with more than 350 Day of Service volunteers, the President’s Medal awarded to Charlie ’71 and Nancy Bauder, Admitted Student Day for the Class of 2030, a Wellness Block Party and a 12-7 lacrosse win over Union that gave head coach Anne Phillips her 300th career victory.
