Quiet, Dry Pattern Persists in Chicago; Cooler near Lake Michigan.

CHICAGO — The National Weather Service said a quiet, predominantly dry weather pattern will continue through the middle of the upcoming workweek, with warm daytime temperatures inland and notably cooler conditions near Lake Michigan.

The five-day outlook shows warm and mainly dry conditions inland, with notably cooler conditions near the lake.

Today: Highs are expected in the 74 to 82 degree range, with lows of 51 to 59. Spotty sprinkles are possible. Monday: Highs 73 to 83, Lows 52 to 58. Tuesday: Highs 74 to 83, Lows 50 to 58. Wednesday: Highs 79 to 86, Lows 54 to 64. Thursday: Highs 80 to 87, Lows 62 to 68.
