The Greater Scranton YMCA says every dollar donated stays right here in our Y. Donation levels include:
- $6.50 provides a full day of healthy meals for a child in our care.
- $48 helps a child participate in swim lessons and build lifesaving water safety skills.
- $200 provides a week of preschool in our Early Learning Centers.
- $215 gives a child a week of discovery, friendship, and growth at Day Camp.

Vigil to headline NHCC two-day reading event

DAO interns visit Zion Baptist Church, Temple University Hospital
The Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office External Engagement and Governmental Affairs Division guided its newest summer interns on a North Philadelphia visit that began at Zion Baptist Church to learn about Reverend Dr. Leon Sullivan and the OIC, continued with a tour of Temple University Hospital’s Trauma Bay with Scott Charles, and included a walk through Germantown and Erie to engage with local youths and business owners before lunch at Max’s.
