The City of Akron, Ohio, along with Cleveland, will be receiving funding from the 2024 America Is All In (AIAI) Tour to prepare for residential solar adoption. The announcement was made during the Cleveland stop of the tour, attended by Akron's Director of Sustainability and Resiliency, Casey Shevlin, and the Mayor. They will focus on education and outreach for the community this summer. Additionally, the Mayor spoke on a panel with other regional leaders to discuss Akron's efforts in becoming a more sustainable city.
