A watermain break was reported at the intersection of Sand Run Parkway and N. Miller Road in Fairlawn around 4 AM. The 12” Cast Iron water main, installed in 1960, broke severely. Akron Water Department responded to the break and is currently repairing the 30-foot section of pipe. Fairlawn is cleaning nearby streets from sand and dirt debris. The repair is expected to be finished before 8 PM today. There are currently no water advisories in effect.
