Free CA Food Handler Certificate Training Available

The Department of Economic Opportunity in Los Angeles County is offering a free CA Food Handler Certificate training for vendors involved in food preparation, storage, or service. The training will help vendors obtain the required health permits for sidewalk vending with the Department of Public Health. The 4-hour training session will take place on Wednesday, August 28th at the East Rancho Dominguez Library. Vendors residing in unincorporated areas will have priority for registration. To reserve a spot or learn more information, vendors can call 323-208-9018. It's important for all vendors to have a Food Handler Certificate to comply with health regulations.
