**Pittsburgh Public Schools to Host Second Annual Take A Child to School Day**

Pittsburgh, PA – Pittsburgh Public Schools will hold its second annual Take A Child to School Day on Thursday, September 19, 2024. The event, organized in partnership with the Take A Father to School Day Committee, encourages positive male role models, including fathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, and community leaders, to accompany students to school.

Participants are invited to drop off their Pittsburgh Public Schools (PPS) students or volunteer to greet children as they arrive on campus. The event promotes walking, biking, or riding to school together. Attendees are encouraged to take selfies in front of the school and share their photos on social media.
