Police Seek Public Help in Aggravated Menacing Incident

The Columbus Division of Police is seeking information regarding an aggravated menacing incident that occurred on September 9, 2024, around 2:20 p.m. An unknown suspect entered a retail store to get his phone repaired. After asking employees to purchase something off his laptop and being declined, the suspect became angry and brandished a gun from his waistband, threatening the employees. Following the incident, the suspect fled the scene in an older silver Honda Accord with a temporary tag.

The police have released photographs of the suspect holding the gun. Anyone with information about the identity of this individual is urged to contact Detective Kerr at KKerr@columbuspolice.org or by phone at 614-645-4035.
